Climbing to 5,199 meters, Mount Kenya is the second tallest mountain in Africa. The scenery surrounding this designated World Heritage Site is breath-taking. The Aberdare National Park

The Aberdare National Park, with an area of 767 Km2 covers the higher areas of the Aberdare Mountain Ranger of Central Kenya, from altitude of 1829M to 4001M above sea level. Animals easily observed in the park include; the Black Rhino, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus monkey and sykes monkey. Rarer sightings include those of lions, the golden cat and the bongo- an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Animals like the eland and spotted and melanistic serval cats can be found higher up in the moorlands.

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a non-profit organization situated in Kenya’s Laikipia County adjacent to Nanyuki town.Ol Pejeta is East Africa’s Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees and holds some of the highest predator densities in Kenya.

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for great apes and to generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary enterprises for re-investment in conservation and community development. Working closely with the Government of Kenya, our conservation activities are carried out to the highest international standards.

Mount Kenya National Park

Mount Kenya National Park was established in 1949 to protect Mount Kenya, the wildlife and surrounding environment which forms the wild animal’s habitat as well as act as a water catchment area that supplies Kenya’s water. The ecosystem lies in Central and Eastern provinces of Kenya some of the activities in Mt.Kenya include; Camping, Cave Exploration, Game Viewing, Mountain Climbing among others.
